PCS New Reps Course

by Darrell Binding

If you've ever wanted to become more involved in the Union, now is your chance, with a 3 day New Reps course - an introduction to all areas of the PCS union - is being held on 12 – 14 October in Peterborough

You will have the opportunity to find out about all of the areas of activity that PCS is involved with and consider what role you would like to specialise in. You will find out how PCS is structured, how policymaking takes place and the role of branches, groups, associations and networks in PCS.

What the course covers

The course will enable you to identify workplace issues and introduce you to ideas about how to campaign and organise around them. The course will support you with how to recruit new members and ideas on how to get members active.

All costs will be covered by the Union, and paid time off is allowed.

If you are interested, or would like to know more, please get in touch with one of the Branch Officers.
